The mission of the foundation is to:

Enable babies and young children who are blind or low-visioned to learn, experience, and live all aspects of a full productive life.

Provide children and their families service, support, and assistance at the highest level.

Encourage children and families to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve their goals with confidence and pride.

Supporting children with visual impairment and their families since 1975

OFVIC's day school and offices are located at the High Park Forest School in Toronto.
Service is provided to children and their families within the regions of Toronto, Halton Peel, York, Simcoe and Durham.
